Nina Muho


Nina Muho was born in the coastal city of Vlora and is currently a soloist at the National Opera of Albania in Tirana.

As a child, Nina displayed her talents in various artistic fields such as singing, dancing, painting, choreography, concert organizing, and presenting. She garnered recognition and encouragement for her talents at a young age from her teachers. One of her passions since childhood was singing songs, which later evolved into a love for classical music, becoming an integral part of her artistic spirit.

Nina commenced her classical vocal studies at the age of 14 at the Naim Frasheri Specialist Music High School in Vlora. She furthered her education at the University of Arts in Tirana, graduating with a gold medal for academic excellence. Following her graduation, Nina joined the choir at the Albanian National Opera Theatre, where she seized numerous opportunities to perform notable roles, including the Countess in Mozart’s opera Le nozze di Figaro, Ciesca in Puccini’s Il Trittico – Gianni Schicchi, Suor Genoveffa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica – Il Trittico, and the role of Paul in Kurt Weill’s Threepenny Opera.

Subsequently, Nina completed her Master’s Degree at the Conservatory of Verona. After graduating, she became a soloist at the National Opera of Albania, earning several awards, including the “Best Interpretation of Giuseppe Verdi” at the Voci Belliniane competition in Catania and the First Prize and Audience Award at the Magliano Ti Amo competition in Lecce. She was also recognized at the international Opera Competition Marie Kraja and received a Special Award and recognition as the best performer in the Songs of the Earth contest, among other accolades.

Nina has performed leading roles in various Italian theatres, including Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi Trieste, Teatro Lirico Cagliari, Teatro Lirico Massimo Bellini in Catania, and the National Opera of Croatia in Zagreb. Her performances span a range of roles, from Violetta Valery in La Traviata” to Norina in Don Pasquale and Suzel in L’amico Fritz.

Notably, Nina shared the stage with opera legend Placido Domingo at the National Opera Theater in Tirana, Albania. She also performed at the “World Summit” with world leaders gathering in Tirana, Albania, in December 2022.

Nina continues her artistic pursuits as a soloist at the National Opera of Albania and as a guest soloist in various opera theatres across Europe and Asia.
